Look at this face. Look at those eyes. This dog is amazing. He is a celebrity to me and I find myself going out of my way on my way home from running errands or the gym to see if he's sitting on his front steps. Often he is and my heart beats a little quicker. And I yell out to him "Niko!" And he'll look at me. This is a dog I could stay up all night talking to about politics, philosophy, life and I know if I veered too close to crazy town, he'd steer me right back on track. Oh Niko, you are awesome!
